Conclusion

After having going through all these terminologies, it becomes clear that tareeqat is about shariah and the popular notion among the masses that tareeqat is separate and shariah is separate is just their misconception and baseless. Once Haqeeqat-e-Saluk gets apparent, then, it could be well understood that neither Kashf or karammat is its necessary ingredient, nor recommendations in front of Allah سبحا ن ؤ تعا لئ on the day of judgement is the responsibility of the sheikh, and / or success in worldly affairs is its objective, or accumulation of wealth or upward progress in jobs or business is its outcome, or success in judicial cases is its merit, or giving taveez for the purpose of curing any one’s ailments is its aim, or to predict future events is its area of expertise, nor concentration of sheikh’s attention on any mureed to automatically transform his mureed spiritually in an instant manner is necessary to an extent that he / she doesn’t even think of sin and constantly perform good deeds in a mechanical manner. Also such batini states in which one thoroughly remains in ecstatic state during his / her worship is not necessarily achievable. Also such spiritual states are not necessarily the outcome of tareeqat that one looses the feeling of everything else except his presence in front of Allah سبحا ن ؤ تعا لئ . Nor one can expect to hear special divine messages during zikr or can witness lights (unwaraat) during zikr. In addition, the good dreams or receiving special divine revelations is not necessary in this way. The only purpose of tassawuf is to develop that lost link with Allah سبحا ن ؤ تعا لئ to please him with our shariah compliant acts. Those who fear Allah سبحا ن ؤ تعا لئ are the ones who achieve this milestone.
